Review:

Why We Fight

Country: USA
Year: 2005
Genres: Documentary, Politics, War

Been There, Did That [3***]

I can't give this movie very high, since it seems like we've already been here before. Indeed, Fog Of War and Farhenheit 9/11 has already gone over most of the things covered here, much concise and more moving too. So... this felt pretty redundant. All-in-all, it's good for someone who isn't so familiar with the topics.

Drama [4****]

I like the interviews and following the story of the NYPD cop. He was a very valuable asset to the story and really pulled together some things that would have gone without feeling if it weren't for him. I think he is really the star and main point of the story. That is besides...

Eisenhower [4****]

This was a pretty cool histoy lesson. To learn how right and just plain cool Eisenhower's ideas were. Even as a war hero prez, he had some accurate and intelligent ideas. One should compare him to current and recent presidents to see how the times have changed.

Overall [3***]

Like I said... it's all been done before. It was a good refresher and keeps the fire of activism and understanding fire inside me alive. But it wasn't really going out. So, it's not a real feat.
